Salt Creek is a popular bluegrass fiddle tune, played at a fast tempo, in the key of A. This arrangement lays out a nice basic version of the tune, well suited to the intermediate picker, but also allows for the fingers to more easily get around the tune comfortably at a faster tempo. At the end of the break, we’ve also got a cool tag to learn…always a great way to end a tune! Once you get your fingers around this arrangement, be sure to also check out the more advanced versions of the tune on Pickin’ Lessons.
