G’day! In this Liberty: Guitar Lesson, we’ll take a look at the basic melody of the tune for the intermediate picker, with some basic cross picking. Liberty is a traditional fiddle tune in the key of D, and this arrangement is played in standard tuning, capo 2. The right-hand is alternating through the tune, with some basic cross picking passages included in the melody. It’s a great melody, darn fun to play & a great session tune!
